Partnerships

Urban Current Journal considers collaborations that are relevant to readers interested in urban design and city life, and that can be described plainly without blurring the line between editorial work and promotion.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly defined projects such as a commissioned explainer, an event or discussion partnership, and suitable placements that direct readers to a partner’s relevant material. Proposals should state the subject, intended audience, format, timing and any payment or other support involved. We do not accept arrangements that require a favourable editorial conclusion.

Clear labelling

Partner-supported articles, placements and other promotional material are labelled so readers can recognise their nature before engaging with them. Labels do not replace an explanation of the relationship when that context matters. Editorial coverage remains distinct, and we may decline proposals that are misleading, unrelated to the publication or unsuitable for its readers.
