Editorial policy
Urban Current Journal aims to make urban design and city life clearer without making claims stronger than the available information allows. We distinguish explanation from opinion and welcome careful questions about our work.
Accuracy and independence
We check names, dates and factual claims against suitable material before publication, and revise wording when a point is uncertain or contested. We do not present an interpretation as the only possible reading of a place. Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements, and payment does not guarantee coverage or a favourable view.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or an unclear passage, contact us with the article title and the detail at issue. We review correction requests and update published text when a change is warranted; material changes are identified in the article so readers can see that it was revised.
Partners and illustrations
Paid, gifted or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Partner relationships do not determine editorial conclusions. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, the illustration is labelled, and it is not presented as a documentary photograph of a real place.
